Would you?
would you spend $3000 on an audi a4 quatro 2.8 if it had perfect interior and perfect red exterior paint? On nice rims and had brand new tires but the sun roof leaked and the engine had 220000k on it. I drove it. The car runs and drives, with no noticable noises. Has a good tranny from what i could tell and a good clutch. What do you guys think. Please any advice would be awsome.

off the top of my head, probably at least the cost of the car.
an example, I'll use myself. Over the last summer on my car alone (which is a 96 A4 now with 200K on it but that was somewhat recent) I spent over 2K in maintenance and repairs and only one of those things was my fault.
I had my Steering Rack replaced because it developed a leak
I had my Timing Belt done finally (only 18k after recommended)
I had my oil pan replaced (I cracked it on a gravel road)
I had new tires put on with an alignment
I had a new Thermostat put on
and now looking at things I would imagine I'm going to need new control arms this summer when I have some time and spare cash.
so In summary, I would pass on the car.

Move on bro! Cars in general with that many miles start giving troubles. I bet you can find an Audi with a lot less miles for that price (and look for 1.8T .
) I myself bought mine with 132K 2.8 v12 for $3800. I'd say keep looking.
