XBox DVD Player?
 

Does anyone know if there is an adapter for the XBox game console to make it use DVD's as well? Someone had mentioned it to me but I can't find them anywhere? I have an XBox but it doesn't play DVD's. Any help would be great!

There's an infrared reciever that goes into the controller plug on the console side if you want a wireless remote. Otherwise you should just be able to put in a DVD and use the XBOX controller to navigate the DVD. Or at least I thought so. I know the Xbox360 is setup to play DVD's. I'm pretty sure the Xbox 180, aka Xbox, is able to play DVD's.

cary 12, i got a broke ass xbox so it don't work and a new 360. pm me a mailing address and when im not too drunk ill send mine to you. got no use on the 360.

I saw those on Ebay but wasn't sure it that was all you needed to pay DVD's but I guess it is. I was reading posts on some XBox forum about replacing the whole drive to play them. That must have been for a custom type thing? Anyway, thanks for the info man! I just PM Cheese Eater about his request. I'm amazed at how friendly and helpful our fellow members are. Really nice gesture.
