Default Yur car history?

... What cars have you guys owned? All along the same lines, or completely different?

here's mine...

MR2 Turbo (300 bhp monster!)

Race prepped Mk1 Astra (Absolute b-road stormer, and would happily follow scoobies all day long around Oulton Park curcuit!)

Audi A3 1.9 Tdi (130 bhp, but superchipped to about 160 bhp. A real hoot, for an oil burner!) No piccy!

Currently have the A4...........

87 VW Jetta 350,000km had me down from the old man first car alsio a 5spd did not last long till she blew up

86 Mazda GT fun little car handled great only paid $1500.00 for it finally after about a year and a half all 4 shocks were blown and was burning oil so sold it for $350.00 to some Jelopie

19701/2 Camaro sat in my grandfathers garage for 10 years full intentions of restoration took to bodyshop and very common problem the rear frame rails had rotted out to much to fix so that went to the wreakers

1971 camero after that one was wreaked I liked the car so much I actually went out and bought one for $3000.00 after about 6 months of sitting in my drive way I took that to the Bodyshop too and that one had the same problem as the other one rails rotted out [sm=headbang.gif] no more Camero's

1985 ford temp funnist car ever bought for $200.00 car lasted 6 months I hit everyone and everything in this car was auto and my onramp was on a hill so everymorning I would drop it to 2nd get it up to 110km until rev limiter and the car is just shaking like a bastard and pop it into drive finally she had to go to the wreakers nothing left of her at all

1993 Honda Accord coupe nice car bought for $7800 let it to a friend het rear ended a van got 10,000 back from the insurance company but still paying for accident today in insurance costs accidebt follows car not driver [sm=headbang.gif]

2001 Vw Jetta 2.0 litre slow as hell used to work out at this gym left keys in gym bag no locks on lockers thought was a nice gym come back from workout no more keys was going to go to back to work ( I work at VW Audi dealership) and get keys recoded Sunday I go out on this date with this girl come out from movie theatre no more car [sm=headbang.gif] cops took 3 hours to get there they found the car 2 weeks later car was a right off took what they wanted Rims stereo and blew the motor and etc

1994 Acura Integra GSR was all show no go for people wanting to say GSR's are fast they are not Honda's suck paid 6800 dumped about $10,000 body kit paint job etc sold for $7000 leason learnt there

2000 A4 1.8TQM I think the bill of sale was just under $20,000 with assured and taxes still have it loving it going back on the road very shortly since the Mosport incident

I think I might be missing something but this is all I can think of right now

Fun to reminisce....

First ride was the car dubbed "The Blue Poo," it is unfortunate I have no pictures but it was a blue 1980's Mercury Topaz XR-7. The XR-7 was the sport model; it had a speedo that barely reached 85mph, automatic seatbelts that would constantly move, and so much more. It was great at a local park, I would angle it down some stairs and grind the hood... it was at perfect height.

Finally, after switching between cars (a pink Saturn and an Explorer) I got my 1994 B3 VW Passat. I loved this thing like no other and I bought it with my own money... my first major purchase. This thing was trash now that I look back on it. So many problems that I dont know where to start. I remember loving the car because it was soo unique... no one had one where I lived. I had always like the boxy euro style from the 80s and this was like the sexy version of it (I thought). I thought it was also tight because it didnt have a grill. I had so many plans for this car... but I found out when I had saved a bunch of money that it had huge engine problems. I tried to fix a few, wasted a bit of money and saw it as a lost cause... you gotta kill your babies, sometimes.

Juggled a few cars around then decided on a few key cars: Merc 190E Cosworth, Subaru WRX, VW Corrado (like I hadnt learned my lesson), MKIII GTI, and then a B5 A4. I narrowed it down that I wanted AWD, so it was between the WRX and the A4. I just couldnt turn my back on European styling and engineering... and the WRX was way too much money. So I have my A4... thats about it.

Yep, it's true. I used to drive a Honda. I'm feeling better now although I had some great times with that car. VTEC YO! Hahaha.
