Place, vehicles, people, location, etc

Mine: Grabbing my friends hardtop wrangler 4 dr, and taking out the local sporting goods store. After guns and ammo are gotten, take over a wal-mart. Blockade all entrances, and exits, monitor cctv, be happy.
Beau, don, Awdholic, kolbs, and all the cool kids are invited.

 

Here's my plan:
I'm working on getting a hold of an old 4runner. Once I get that, all windows (except windshield) come out. Chain link and square tubing is purchased. Weld up a frame for each window, attach chain link, cover windows. Cut a few links put to make a hole big enough to fit a hook through. Cut a hole in the roof for a roof top gunner. Large wooden block on front bumper for hitting zombies. Stripped interior other than seats, by the way.

Guns aren't a worry of mine, I've got quite a few sitting in my gun safe. Ammo is the same story. There is a military base close to my house, so chances are it will be a safe zone. When I'm not ****** zombies up, that's where I'll be.

And that is how I will survive the zombie apocalypse.

 

lol funny you made this thread, I was just watching dawn of the dead the other night and contemplating whether or not I'd be ready if there ever was a zombie apocalypse. I think probably not.

Pile the guns in the truck, drive to the marina, load the houseboat.
Then, set up chair on roof, crack a beer, and see if Im still set up to shoot a golfball at 200 yards.

 

Being in the Army, I have a few buddies who know a few things... Mind if we join you on the boat house?

BTW, my specialty in the Army is weapons... fixing them, not shooting, but I usually qualify expert, and have been know to shoot thumb tacks off a board at 25M with an M4 with ACOG... (I got bored with shooting at the target, so I started shooting off the tacks that held the targets up...)

Oh, and we may need to stop at a local Home Depot or similar to get some axes and chain saws. No massacring of zombies is complete without chain saws!

 

So, you're inviting me and Don for the weaponry and repopulation skillz, Jazz obv to get killed off kwik and spare us (black guy duh), and Kolby to bring mucho booze, right?


Ill be grabbing the guns and Dog (as an alarm not defense) and stealing the first armored truck and fuel tanker i see. Then straight to my mother's house to secure her, although she's probably doing fine with the 12ga pump I gave her a few years back. Then I guess I'll go stock up on even more .223 for the AR-15 and some other easy to carry rounds like .22mag.
Stealing a nice big sport fishing boat would be cool to plink zombie's from while getting super hammered and keeping a very competitive score with AchTTung.
During all this I guess it'd be fun to take some road trips to slaughter the walkers and find some surviving ***** to bring back to my base that happens to be the State Police marine headquarters. Perfect in all aspects. Fully protected with bars, steel doors, and bulletproof glass. Its on its own marina with boat garages, plus it has protected car/truck garages.

 

I guess we would need a scorecard. Maybe an armored Allroad that kolbs can take for beer runs too. And zombies cant swim right?

 

Zombies dont swim, but depending on which resource you're going from, and their intelligence, they could climb.
That comes into play when you're on an anchored boat, because if you're undead, you don't breath, and if you don't breath, walking across the bottom of a lake is no problem for you.
Key is to keep the anchor up unless you really need it. Then just post someone on watch at the bow. Won't be hard to pick them off as they break the surface.

Houseboat guests are no problem, but BYOB/B (thats beer/ballistics)
