R8 Quattro vs Bugatti Veyron

I was thinking of getting an r8 but a friend keeps telling me, he doesn't like r8 because it has the same "aesthetic formation" as Bugatti Veyron? I don't understand where he's coming from

Bugatti and Audi are both made by VW, however I don't think they look that similar and they are completely different cars. I personally love the r8, and I dream of owning one. Buy it!!
