2013 RS5 - getting out of lease?

Hey guys,

New person here with a question,

I leased a fully loaded 2013 RS5 (every option but the carbon brakes) - the lease is 36 months and I have paid off 6 months so far. Car is in NYC.

Question is, my situation has changed and I am looking to move to Europe for 2015. Is there a way to exit the lease without taking a hit on my credit? Do "lease swaps" really work and if so, what are dangers that you may know of that I should be careful about.

The car is quite great, I really enjoy it - but I don't want to just park it in a garage for 12+ months of a 36 month lease! Car has 7,200 miles in 6 months - just came back from the first service and everything checked out ok.

Just trying to see what my options are. If I have none, I will just keep the car, though it's a shame to both pay for something you are not using and also to garage something like this for so long.

Thanks,

Bet

Still looking to sell?

Are you still looking to get out of your lease?

Yes.

I would get out of the lease if possible at this stage. Car is in great shape - at 15k miles now.

36 month lease @ about $1,600 a month.

Ideas? Interest?

Thanks!

ps- Car is Black, Black interior (every option but Carbon Ceramic Brakes). Wheels have been powder coated black as well.
