2013 RS5 - getting out of lease?
Hey guys,
New person here with a question, I leased a fully loaded 2013 RS5 (every option but the carbon brakes) - the lease is 36 months and I have paid off 6 months so far. Car is in NYC. Question is, my situation has changed and I am looking to move to Europe for 2015. Is there a way to exit the lease without taking a hit on my credit? Do "lease swaps" really work and if so, what are dangers that you may know of that I should be careful about. The car is quite great, I really enjoy it - but I don't want to just park it in a garage for 12+ months of a 36 month lease! Car has 7,200 miles in 6 months - just came back from the first service and everything checked out ok. Just trying to see what my options are. If I have none, I will just keep the car, though it's a shame to both pay for something you are not using and also to garage something like this for so long. Thanks, Bet |
Still looking to sell?
Are you still looking to get out of your lease?

Yes.
I would get out of the lease if possible at this stage. Car is in great shape - at 15k miles now. 36 month lease @ about $1,600 a month. Ideas? Interest? Thanks! ps- Car is Black, Black interior (every option but Carbon Ceramic Brakes). Wheels have been powder coated black as well. |
