17 or 18 inch wheels on 2008 RS4 Cabrio?
Hello Folks,
First time here.
I'm looking at picking up a 2008 RS4 Cabrio, but I live in Canada so winter tires are a must.
Ideally I'd like to put a set of 17 inch rims on with some good winter tires. But I've looked at an RS4 and there doesn't seem to be much room with those amazing calipers.
So I'm just wondering if anyone has done this on their RS4?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'd recommend calling Tirerack.com fitment specialists. Ask for Ben. I think 16"are too small but i'm not sure about 17". The 18" shouldn't be a problem but I have to ask why so much smaller? Minus sizing to an 18" should be plenty for winter. Personally, I'm sticking with the 19" stock size but probably going with high performance all season tires next week. Continental makes a fantastic tire for the size our RS4's need.
In any case, good luck!

17"s won't fit over the front rotors. 18"s will fit with the right backspacing "ET32" and a 15mm spacer+longer wheel bolts.
I just bought a set of 18" x 8" RS4 Replicas from a local company (Seattle area) with Contisport ExtremeContact DWS for my rain/snow tires.
