I want to get new rims (zyoxx ZX3) but i dunno whether to go with 20's or 18's. Either way i need new tires, but should I go all out with the 20's...or should i stay safe with 18's? Will the 20's **** up my performance or turning at all, and which tires would be the best? Here's what i need:
Zyoxx ZX3 18's w/ new tires (235/40 18) width 7.5

or

Zyoxx ZX3 20's w/ new tires (225/30 20) width 8.5 or 7.5

I have Soprtcontact 2's on right now with stock rims those are 235/40 18's width = 9.5 i think...
If anyone knows any other chrome rims that would work with the Sportcontacts i already have...lemme know please.
Otherwise...what should I do?

errrmmm y dont you just go middle of the road and go with 19's???? 20s can be done, i know that much, but im not sure if any extra work is involved. Plz dont ruin your car with those tims though...

 

ur better off keepin the stock rims on

 

20" is just gonna kill the look IMO...18s good, 19s good, but 20's will give it that cheap look I think, goofy at least...

Thanks for the imput. I was worried about the cheap look factor. Any other rim ideas in 19's or 18's?
I definitely want chrome, but I want it classy. Also...a little of topic...but...my dad's 65th is coming up and i want to get him rims for his Bentley GT Continental...what should I go with...what size?

 

If you want chrome, go with HRE.

 

agreed ^^^ but i still woudl avoid chrome.. i think its hard to have chrome and not be cheap... but if you find the right pair you can..

I think 19's look great, but I'd suggest 18's if the roads in your area are trashed. Stay away from the 20's...they just don't fit well or look good on a b6 s4.

Since you're getting opinions, I think almost every chrome wheel I've seen on a car looks cheap. Chrome works better on large wheels for a truck IMO.

But hey, if you like it thats all that counts...go with what you feel works...
