Should i use the cats in the kit or not? its has pipes with cats or pipes without cats. i have to make a choice.... which to use??

 

The kit comes with both right? I'd go no cats though. Unless your state requires emission test, then just slap on the cats to pass.

 

no emission test here in iowa. will i get a check engine light with out the cats??

just go to vast and fet some cel elims and that wilol take care of cel light that pops up.

 

good idea but i think i will just put the cats in. they are high flow so there can't be much of a loss in hp

 

Jus try it out with no cats. With no emmissions test I would have straight pipes, plus you owe it to all of us in states w/ strict inspections

 

its not gonna make any differenceand i don't wanna buy the cel eliminators. so the cats are going in

 

no cats man, if you need emissions, throw the cats in for the emissions test then swap them back out and put some vast cel eliminators on your downstream O2 sensors.

 

I punched both of my precats. I just purchased the cel eliminators and have now noticed this thread. My assumption was that i install the cel elims on the precats....is that correct? or am do i have it backwards? By downstream, do you mean the warmup cats? or the big cat closest to the resonator?
