the apr chip isnt really all that bad, after all most chips are very similar. But it is the most conservative. You can take that 2 ways, 1 its "smooth" and will make your turbos last longer, or 2. no chip is going to make your turbos last longer, if you want more power you might as well find the company thats going to offer you the biggest gain.

As was said before, JHM/ VAST, GIAC, EPL all good stuff

I just see other companies really trying to bring new products to the market even for our 10 year old car. APR has a $9000 k04 kit which is ludacris, an exhaust, and a chip. They post to advertise a $10 reduction in price on an $1100 cat-back? I mean have you seen the shirts on their website? Its like $65 for a god damn APR shirt, its APR at designer prices. They are cool, they have an awsome campus down south(which we paid for), but for the B5 S4 they arent anything special.

Theres nothing wrong with having multiple programs, GIAC also has a flashloader that can plug in with no laptop and in 2 seconds change the tune. JHM & VAST can also put more than one file on your ECU i believe.

VAST can put in multiple tunes for you, and it's custom made for your car.
