oo my that thing scares me, Meanist exhuast i have heard in a while. I think u should make a drag video of it runnig. Is taht beast a 4 spd?

 

When researching The New Vehicle (TM) a lot of the magazines and online articles were saying that Audi tends to lean on the conservative side with their official figures, and actual times tend to be a bit faster. Especially after the vehicles are well broken in.

its true of a few more nicer cars rather than performance cars taht do this also. They feel that their times wont matter to there customers as much so they dont worry about getting the best driver and perfect condt. and car broken in to get the times for it. Thats why i always look at the magazine b/c they are independent companies.

 

Don't want to get off the topic in this thread, but to answer your question: No, it has Tremec T56 6-speed from Dodge Viper. I am running 3.75 rear end gears so first 3 gears are pulling like crazy (well, torque is 525lbft so that helps I am sure). 4th gear is good up to approx. 125mph, I took it to 160 mph in 5th (redline at 6,000), honestly being scared to see how fast in 6th. My guess would be around 180-185mph. And that exhaust is the Flowmaster 3" dual chamber free-flow (thank God for smog-exempt). But you better be going straight as it hates corners! And don't ask me about fuel consumption as I will start to cry...and yes, I am planning to make a drag video, just got new Mickey Thomson's drag radials, need to peel some rubber!

 

Umm a manual S4 with a decent driver will take the tip everytime. Especially from a dig.
The B6 S4 is already heavy ,the tip in going to weigh it down more.

 

I just got the milltek downpipes on
had to get welded to the supersprint..

Absolutely amazing! I had no idea the 4.2 v8 could pull this quickly..
My subtle presence is gone though, the pipes have multiplied my decibel level..
For any S4 b6 owners I would stand by these downpipes, and I imagine with an exhaust by milltek it would perform better than my supersprint..
I really am impressed, the car pulls so very powerfully up to the redline!

Anyways- this is a dyno test done earlier..
I am astounded at how low the horsepower figures are they are noting...
even with fully modded cars ...the horsepower to the wheels X the conversion of what 1.25?
Just seems like it should be making more at the crank

i realized this definately doesnt validate any claims by magazines as the car is definately no longer stock
But i think for allt he b6 owners it would be good to know how fast you sprint to 60 in a lightly modded s4
