Bought a certified used 2004 B6 S4 last year and I'm up for my first servicing owning this car. Want to find out if anyone else has this issue of feeling a slight hesitation pause of power around the 1500-2000 RPM mark during acceleration. It seems to be regardless if I take off in 1st or 2nd gear, same problem is observed.

I don't notice a hesitation at any particular rpm, although there are lots of posts about the dbw, and how there is said to be a .4 second hesitation at WOT. I have noticed that...progressive throttle seems to feel faster....

 

I haven't noticed a hesitation on my s4 either.
