Hey there... I have a b6 s4 2005 negaro blue 6spd. I can really feel the restriction on the exhaust both powerwise and sound wise. I feel like sometimes my car isn't breathing as well as it could be. I was thinking that by removing the cats and running straight pipes it would make the car have more of that muscle car sound... What would need to be done in order to achieve this? What would the end price be? Is it cheaper than adding a new exauhst? Also is it possible to make the car louder without sacraficing the cats?

It isn't going to change the sound much with a stock exhaust. You will also not really gain much HP. Plus you will get a CEL.

If you want more HP & sound. There is only one way, you have to purchase aftermarket DP's & exhaust.
