Car runs fine, but there is a buzzing sound that gets louder the faster you go. Disappears when you turn right. Pretty loud when going straight or into left turn. Seems to come from back right wheel. Concurrently getting a groan and creaking from steering wheel when turning at low speeds, which could be tie-rods. Are they supposed to be loose? The bolts are loose...

 

it might be a bad wheel bearing...

try driving straight... then turn the steering wheel to the right and then to the left and see if the sound goes away and comes back...

Pretty sure you are right, thanks.
In the meantime the turbos blew out, so the car is in the hospital for diagnosis and repair... and they'll take care of the bearing as well.
