Hi everyone,

i am new to the forums and i have just recently bought a 2000 s4 2.7t b5 body in auto. I was wondering what is the best ecu chip for the car? Giac, Apr or Dahlback??? i was tending more towards Giac for their rep. Also does the chip put a lot of pressure on the turbos causing them to fail???

YOUR CAR IS PLAGUED FOR BUYING A TIP!!1! It will always be slow!!
lol.. jk.. but serioulsy
I like my GIAC.. but that is SOLD!
The best ECU is a stage 3 custom ECU

to answer your other question.. yes, i believe that chipping/ flashing an ECU will cause the turbo to prematurely fail.

I have had both giac and mtm and loved mtm more cause it was same hp just not all at once. As for turbos failing if you keep up on issues with the car they will go when they like to go at 50,000 or 250,000.

It all up to you. If you like a moreconservative chip, APR is for you. If you want ***** to the wall then you'll want to go with GIAC. The other chips, i couldnt help you with.

GIAC has a nice package with the engine/tip chip.

If you can afford it go with GIAC!

MTM is the smoothest
GIAC makes the most raw power
APR isnt as agressive as GIAC but lets you switch modes with the cruise ctrl

Custom tunes are also great (vast, EPL, whatever shop is near you)

I wouldnt touch anything else
