Can the headlights in a B5 be wired to turn off with the car?
I am used to driving a grand cherokee and have only had my 2000 S4 for 2 weeks. The jeep's headlights would turn off a preset amount of time after the engine was turned off, or when the lock button was pushed on the key fob, alarm on your kering, whatever. Would it be possible to wire the s4 this way. I left the lights on and ran down a brandnew battery and didn't even have the cables from my other car in the S yet. Very annoying. I am extremely forgetful. Or maybe if it made noise when the driver's door opened with the lights on; that could be another solution. As always any help or ideas would be appriciated.

Ha ha, I guess your right I have only had it for two weeks. On the other hand I had a 2nd gen integra that didnt turn off the lights or make a noise when they were left on for 5 years, and I still left the lights on. Went through many a battery. Ok I was hoping that maybe this was a common problem and someone would have a walkthrough, but I guess Ill just have to stop celebrating 420 so hard, and remember the damn lights. I usually turn around tocheck out the S as I walk away but sometimes I don't notice the lights : )
