Sounds like it could be a slipping clutch, watch ur rpms. When mine was going it would slip, then basically drop, so it would jerk and slow down. IDK could be it, but if thats not it VAG it.

i suppose it could be the clutch going.. but i dont think thats so much jerky. Seems like when the clutch goes you give it gas and the engine just kinda revs and slowly tries to catch up...

thanks guys...
I dont blv its the clutch...I watched my rpms - & its basically just a quick jerk / stall
when I let off the gas... but it only happens intermittently.. I agree fuel or air - Im thinking Fuel Filter maybe???
well - we'll see what the VAG holds for me - hopefully I can use it this Sun at our GTG. weve got a forum member
generous to bring his VAGCOM to our gtg...
in the meantime....[&o]

Meaby it's a coil pack going bad ? Or some sensors ? If it's a sensor you'll
see some codes with VAG tool. I dont beleave it's the clutch, you would feel
it slip under power and it's something thas gose gradually, im sure you'll notice
it if it happens.
Good luck !
Post your VAG result so we can help you more.

oh ok... What i was trying to say before, when my clutch was going, it would all of a sudden be like i pressed my clutch in, and while i was still giving it gas it would rev up real quick, then feel like i dropped the clutch when it caught. It did it so fast could barely avoid it, it sucked to say the least. But since thats not it i dont know what it could be.
