Default Car won't start

This is the second time this has happened to me. The car just turns and turns over but wont spark. No CEL lights, but got the code 16706 P0322 035 Ign./Distributor Eng. Speed Inp. Circ. No Signal. First time this happened to me I left the car and checked it 45 mins later, and Viola! it starts. No problem for a month and a half, and now it happens again. I voltage tested the Engine speed sensor when this first occured and everything checked out. Anyone had this issue and can shed some light?

The most likely cause is a loose connection or a faulty sensor.

You say you tested the engine speed sensor when it first occurred? I assume that was the time you let it sit and then it started. Perhaps it was a loose connection and you "jiggled" it tight when testing?

Good luck.

Just to follow up on my post. It was the Reference Sensor, RPM Sensor (Crankshaft), Located on top of the flywheel on the engine block Part number: 06A906433C

Hope this helps anyone with the same issue!

you have a faulty sensor replaced the sensor and it will fix the problem this is a common accurance since its a magnetic sensor it sporadically fails and will cause the cars to not start occasionally. the only way to properly diag it would be to scope it but the dealer would cost a lot to do that but im positive its the sensor
