Hello Audi enthusists!!! Ya got an Audi newbie here.

My little baby girl is due to come into this world in the end of June.

So, I've got until then to get me a baby wagon.

I would like to get the S4 Avant, but I'm not sure what to watch out for.

How is the reliability? Which years did they have a model changeover...I'd like to avoid 1st year productions.

I'm looking for used and my budget is $15-20.

I'm hoping to get an s4, but my budget might only leave me with an A4.

Any essential options that I should look out for?

you might wanna up that budet to about 25K

 

I love the S4 Avant - but I would be lying if I told you it was in any way reliable. I've had nothing but problems with mine for the last two years. The perform great - they drive great - they are way fun - particualrly in the snow - but Audi sucks and based on my experience - and from what I have heard from some others - I cannot recommend the car. Lets put it this way - your budget is $15-20 K - well if you could find one for $10K you might be able to stay under budget after 2 years. My experience thus far - and I can't see it getting any better - it certainly hasn't for me yet (I just spent $5k on this car in the last 2-3 months and I'm being told my turbos can go at any time - etc) - I would say look elsewhere - sorry.

 

what kind of problems have you had Roadhawk?

 

I just listed most I could think of (but I'm sure that there have been more I've just fogotten at the moment)...its basically always in the shop....
