EPC & Check engine light is on.
Hope someone can give me an idea of what is going on with my car. Two days ago my EPC light came on with NO check engine light. I lost power; it felt as if I had no boost. I parked the car & turned it off, started it up again & the light went off. Now that light keeps coming on, but now with a check engine light. The code I got was P1547, I checked Mitchell for the code, but they didn’t have anything on it.
Known problems are; valve cover leak. I smell the oil mostly when I turn the heater on & I found oil all over my driver side turbo. I have had this car for 8 months or so with no big problems. If anyone can give me some ideas, that would be great. Thanks….
