Hey guys firstly this is a feeler since I won't be able to actually afford turbos and labor until sometime this summer. That being said, the offer is as follows:

Would anybody be willing to install k04's for me for $500 in cold hard cash? I know that's way less than what I would have to pay at a shop, but this way I could have somebody experienced do it on the side and you'd be making a bunch of money in just a few days of work. To me it seems like a win-win. Let me know what you think a fair price would be if and only if you have done this kind of thing before and are good at it. I don't need a bunch of noobs polluting this thread. I was thinking maybe $500 but if nobody would do it I could pay more or if many people could do it I might drop the offering price. Just a feeler for now, the 500 number is mostly to grab attention of readers, but I could potentially pay that much. Located in Delaware.

As a side note I'm thinking about maybe just doing it myself, the only drawback being that it would probably take me 30+ hours since it would be my first time and I work very carefully.

After reading your thread, however, please keep an update going. I've never done an engine pull before but if you get someone to do it, and wouldn't mind a spectator/extra hands/extra wrenches......

You aren't too terribly far from me and I have some friends that live by the New Castle airport

 

saw this post on the zine, but didnt post what has already been stated. ive removed my engine a number of times, turbos, then clutch, then trans.. just being honest, i hope you find someone. i wouldnt touch this job for 500 cash.. thats just me..
