2.7T - how is this hose called?

I broke the plastic corrugated hose. What is going through the hose? What is it for? How is it called? Maybe part number?

Replace or patch with duct tape?

Secondary air injection hose. It supplies secondary air to the valve pictured in photo. If the hose is broken the check the engine light will be on soon!

Preparing the engine for stage 3. Is the secondary air system of any benefit (performance, etc.) or can it be tuned out and removed?

Is so: good write ups how to get rid of it?

I am not the person to answer that question. I don't get involved in mods that much. There might be other people here that could possibly answer that question for you.

yes you can delete it! needs to be coded out during tune for best results. not sure all the details, but check on audizine. i know j-fonz offers this service.
