Anyone ever heard of a fuel pump blowing fuses? Its been whining ever now and then for the past 6 months. And all of a sudden the other day my car wont run. I put in a new fuse and the cars starts fine, runs for a few seconds, them BAM. Fuse blows. Could be shorting but I'm thinking more along the lines of the pump is bad and its just drawing more current on its way out. Any suggestions or input?

 

pump is bad.. for sure.. pulling too much amperage and yep.. thats when the safety device kicks in.. i got an oem with 25k for sale.. i pulled it out when i did my RS6 swap.. lemme know..
