Hey everyone, I'm looking for a good exhaust system because my B5 S4 is WAYYY too quiet. I'm really looking for a cat back so I can do piggies. The louder the better.. if car alarms go off when I drive by, that's ok. And if I could some how get the popping and crackling that would be even cooler! I had a look at SSAC and loved it. Sounded great and was cheap, but I've sent 5 emails now and no one has responded (from SSAC). So does anyone know of another system/muffler pipe combo ect. that fits the above? I don't have tons of money so a $1000 Borla kit is out of range :/ Thanks in advance for responses!

 

non-resonated ssac is perfect! try contacting naudlee on audizine.

there arent many sub $1k cat-backs out there for our cars. milltek, uuc, borla are the closest to low cost. you could always go custom for around $600. then you can add cherry bombs!

cut-outs are always an option too. then you can put them right after the down pipes, before the exhaust. crazy loud.

check the clasiifieds on here and audizine for a used exhaust.

 

Though they don't make a custom, right out of the box solution, you can buy their mufflers and get a custom mandrel bent system installed. That way you get the best of everything and the mufflers plus the rest should be less than $800.

 

Try a Milltek Exhaust - I love there exhausts.

 

Someone posted a link to a Millitek exhaust for an A3. First of all that's not an S model but what's more important is that it cost £2200 (British pounds). That's $3300!!!!!!!!! No exhaust is worth that!

Ya you can't beat $330 for the SSAC cat back. Sounds awesome with piggies.
