well what i was wondering is what head and cams would be good for my car i will be at stage 2 here in a few weeks and plane for stage 3 in a fewww months so what head and cams can i slap in that would be good for it and is not a crazy amount of money? and when i do the swap does the car need to be tuned for the new head and cam? o its a 00 s4 6speed.

 

what are your total power goals? The 2.7 heads are good for pretty much anything up to stage 3. With k04s you can net some power in the high end with the 2.8 engine's heads, but you'll lose some torque down low.

As far as cams go, RS4 and 2.8 cams are very very similar. I'd just find some 2.8 cams and call it good. The will need to be tuned for the cams and head if you do it. Save it for when you get a stage 3 tune.

 

so i can put 2.8 cams in with the 2.7 head and can i have apr tune that up when thay do the stage 3 tune?

 

i dont really have any power goals i just want to make the motor tuff for stage 3. so if i did the 2.8 cams in and left the 2.7 heads is there anything else i would need to buy or is this just a direct swap? and does anyone know where i could get the motor tuned for the 2.8 cams?
