Default HKS BOV on S4?

Does anyone make a bolt on kit for a dual HKS SSQ bov setup on the s4? would it would to just get 2 universal hks bov's or is there a kit? I did the BOV on my bro's 1.8t ko3, is it virtually the same BPV setup on the s4 times 2?

There is a lot af debate about BOV's on the b5 s4. Many say that it is terrible for our engines and produce too rich of a mixture, but others have done it without problem. Search AW for more info, and s4biturbo.com has some links regarding it.

I checked out s4biturbo.com. There was one guy who wrote a number of articles on this issue. He reports smooth idle, no black smoke and a dramatic improvement on boost response and power thru shifts. Has anyone had problems with a dual BOV setup? why arent more people running them?

Most people dont run them in fear of producing oto rich a mixture for our engines, since the o2 sensor thinks its getting a certain amount of air, but air is dumped htrough the valve, the engine isnt getting as much air as it thinks. Many feel that this is really bad for our cars and thats why they dont do it. I personally am going to go with the crowd in that, id rather know that my engine is fine, rather than adding them and that leading to unwarrantied problems in the future. I dont want the sound bad enough to do that, plus i also dont want it to sound like a neon...

I would not recomend BOV for the turbo its not very good for the ecu in your car for your actually losing boost, your best bet is to get new diverter valves its keeps your boost and still sound nice, you can hear the air woshing in them as you shift insted of flying out. but its your call

How many people hear their d/v's? give us a head count cos ive been going to my dealer a number of times as i hear a pisst, everytime i let off the gas and all they keep doing is replacing 02 sensors, its really getting on my nerves now, so just let us know, as the last thing i need is a leak in the system, and maybe if my turbos wear out ahead of time i may have a reason for warranty repairs! cheers chaps.

pressure test your system or fun a boost gauge to see if you have a leak. I dont know what year you are but it could be an f hose, dv's, or tbb

i plan on getting a s4 sometime in the near furture would you be able to run the bov's back into the intake like on an eclipse b/c they are somewhat the same. by that i mean the ecu thinks theres more air going in the motor if you vent to the atmosphere

The stock valves do exactly that, vent back into the intake.
