Default How to remove O2 sensor (driver side)- S4 B5

How to remove O2 sensor (driver side)- S4 B5? (i have only front o2 ->old model s4)
EGT's are ready but lamda o2 sensor get me crazy...i dont know how....

I NEED CHANGE O2 SENSOR EARLY.... BECAUSE CAR IS NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE.... it shakes between 1000-2000rpm and eat 25litres of petrol for 60miles/hour.

you need a long extension and a deep oxygen sensor socket.. remove the coolant reservoir and you should be able to get to the wiring. come in from the passenger side of the engine with the socket and extension.. break it loose, then you should be able to unplug it and get it the rest of the way out with your hands and the electrical connections.

is o2 sensor on drivers side?

there is log from vag¨in czech, but numbers are the same
17528 - rada valcu 2 - sonda 1 : obvod vyhrivani - preruseni
P1120 - 35-00 - -
17861 - cidlo 1 teploty vyfukovych plynu - preruseni / zkrat na plus (G235)
P1453 - 35-00 - -
16538 - rada valcu 2 - sonda 1 : zadna aktivita

Yup that 02 sensor is on the drivers side

i hope that this change resolve my problems with shaking, and vibrates to 3000rpm. 3-6000rpm is everything ok.

02 sensor socket is a must.
EGT's i did with a open end. (think it was a 17mm open) snuby would come in handy here.

EGT are OK, that was easy install...

what do you thing about lambda....it is only informational sensor? or very important which control engine and good performance.

The primary o2's are important. The secondary ones (which you dont have) are just for informational purposes

primary o2's help the ecu adjust fuel trims so the car can run as close as possible to 14.7:1
.. secondary o2's just let the ecu know if the catalyst are reducing emissions properly...

now im not sure but turbo cars may not want to run that rich.. not sure..

I am pleased....

because i have big problems.... with car...and i hope thet is only from bad o2.
Engine shakes and vibrates from 900 to 3000rpm.
