how well do you know your audi?
So when I hear people talking about Audi's, even parts people all over the place I hear it pronounced two ways. One, (the way I say it) similar to howdy. Two the way others say it and seem to correct me is ahdee. So when I listen to the computer voice on a german translator site he says it like howdy. Am I fricken retarded and can't pronounce my cars name or are some people just really dumb and can't pronounce the name? I am sure this has been posted before and I found something on a different forum that had people with mixed responses yet everyone was right. A little help please? I can't sleep at night.
I am in the military and when we were stationed in germany. I was on shore leave for a few days and the way they pernounced it to me was more like
AAhhuhwdi or like augh w di
there lanuage has sounds that we do not so the houwdi is actully the best I would think to compare

I thought only the British said awdee? Anyway, Germans pronounce every letter, so it is something like ah-ooh-dee, though we should probably be asking the romans how to pronounce it since it is a latin word......
look for the movie "du bist audi" on you tube. the europeans most deffinatly dont say ahhdee... it is just a bunch of audi employees in some kind of promotional video.
