JHM Stage 3 car trapped 127mph in the quarter mile on 10/27 with full interior
I trapped 127 mph with my car not launching right and boost problems. Haven't had a chance to look at my car yet, went on vacation the day after the track and just got back. So I just left soft with 2.0 60 fts and easing into the throttle and letting out of the clutch soft resulting in really slow half track times compared to last time. 96 mph half track on the 127 mph trap pass. Last time out I trapped as high as 99mph at half track with a 125 mph trap. my ET was only 12.0 due to leaving so soft.
I only changed the injectors (green giants from RS4) and the JHM "pure race file" tune (made 2 revisions) from my last time out when I trapped 126.2 and ran an 11.51 @ 125.7mph.
The best thing about my new trap is that I did it with a 96 mph half track (due to boost issues and launching problems). My previous best of 126 mph was with a 98mph + half track. So my car is 3+ mph faster on the 2nd half than before. Once I get a chance to look at my car and fix it, I will get my trap up to 100 at half track (where it should be) and I think it has 130mph trap in it. I will be posting up the slips soon to show the difference on the second half of the track between last time and this time. (plus 3 mph gain) It is undisputable since you can't deny the numbers.
This was with full interior and I did NOT even remove the upper seatback. Sorry for the delay on getting you guys the info I went on vacation for a week a day after I ran those times and have been busy since I got back catching up.
