I do about 70% of street light to street light driving, and i get roughly 300 miles to a tank on a perfect running engine, you might get about 50 miles or so more if you drive on the highway a lot.
As for the MPG's, i get an average of 18 mpg (doing my own calculations, not the dash display)
The display says i average 21 MPG's.

Sounds about right. I get 26.7 on the highway where I am most of the time. That's about 360 miles per tank with 2 gallons in reserve.

Nice! I got 26ish when I first got the GIAC because I wanted to prove to my self that tame driving would improve my mileage. Now I average around 22-24mpg. About 325 miles per tank.

Gee Thanks!

But I did a search for "miles per tank" in the s4 forum...as I'm not concerned with the MPT onanother model, and got a limited response. And I saw one that was started with the B6, and a few B5s popped in. No where near 79 results come back when you're being specific. I guess if I just want a generic result for some random car, I should heed your advice?

I'm also not trying to be an ***, but hey, I tried a little different method than you
