My cup holder is stuck!

RE: My cup holder is stuck!
haha my a6 avant does the same thing. Did you ever spill something that might have leaked in? Thats what happened to me and it got inside where the cupholder closes into. What I do when it gets stuck is pop off the little bracket that indicates cup holder and then take some needlenose pliers and pop it back out. I try to never shut the thing now because i dont know how to clean it good enough so it doesnt get stuck again.

Take the hazard trim off. Pop two clips off holding the Cup holder in place. The complete assembly will slide right out.
Undo the connector at the back, to take it out off the dash completely. Now you can inspect whats possibly wrong with it.
When mine got stuck, it was one spring that left its place (small copper roll like structure in the picture), you may have the same issue.
Slide the tray out of off the assembly holder. Will need a small flat screw driver to push the stopper down.
You should see the problem right away, if its the same issue. If its not fixable, just throw this piece of ****.
Install Turbo Timer. Or V1 control or whatever replacement mod is available & performed by the guys on the forum.
