my brother has a 04 srt and is talking sh*t, hear about giac and apr chips. whick one should i do?

I have neither. A 1997 12 valve V6 has no available chips. Since you don't feel like researching yourself, i'll just tell you. APR and GIAC are very similar companies. You will be happy with either one as they both produce basically the same product. Choose the one that has a distrubutor nearest to you.

 

Ok Apr is smoother and GIAAC is squeezes every oune of boost. But you need Dv's if you are going to chip, which brings you to teh next problem : blowing out your turbos (that will mostly happen with a chip and not bigger turbos) all you have to do is tell him to go down some twisties and you'll see who laugh there, who cares about a straight line, if you wanted that you should have bought a roush

 

uhhh you cant beet an SRT 4 stock?

 

id think a stock s4 would be an srt 4

s4- 250hp 256lb torque
srt- 215/230hp jus over 200lb torque

correct me if im wrong

i unno if u could loose in the s4, it may be heavier, but that shouldnt matter too much, right?

 

well the difference is the SRT 4 weights about as much as a tin can and a S4 weight about as much as a house but I think with good driving skills with a good launch you should be able to take the SRT 4 stock come on guys theses are neons lets not let them imbarass use please

 

I'll go with the apr cause i can turn it off or on, Rs those srt-4s are pretty fast. the 2004's they run 13.8's stock 1/4.
Ill save up for some KO4's, it will take a while though.
