Hey guys...I have a 2000 S4 Tip. I recently had transmission probs and had a used tranny installed (30k). After the install, my tech noticed a fault code P0716 causing the car to be in limp mode. Im wondering if anybody knows how to fix this problem. I know that the vagcom says its an Input Turbine/Speed Sensor Circ. Range/ Performance....what does that mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

The code you're getting is for the transmission RPM sensor (G182). It's either disconnected, mushroomed, faulty, etc.

This is more than likely related to your recent tranny installation. I would bring it back to your tech.

 

i know its g182, but we replaced it with a new sensor and the problem still lurches...anymore thoughts? The sensor was new when he replaced it
