has anyone ever installed a nitrous kit on their b5 s4. i have an 01 with apr software and straight pipe exhaust. i figured a small shot of n2o should help with the heat soak in the st louis humidity. only would use it in a racing situation. wondering if i should do wet or dry. usually i do wet kits. where to plumb it in at. suggestions would be considered. thought maybe 30 - 50 shot.

 

I have a dry nitrous kit on another car and I have been tempted to put it on the S4. I'd spray it in front of the throttle body but I don't think it would be a good idea to put it in the TBB because it would cause a boost leak. Maybe you could tap into the Y pip before it splits to the turbos.

The problem I have is that mine uses a microswitch to activate and the S4 has no throttle linkage.

 

mount the switch to the gas pedal mount or somewhere under the pedal so u hit it when u have the car totally floored. thats how i have it on my 2000 lincoln ls

lowers iats to advance timing. better for stg 3's for that purpose tho
