Oxygen sensor replacement!!???

the CEL turns on 60% of times and turns off at 40% of times, it keep turning on and stay acouple of day then turned off and it comes back again later on.......it kept keep doing this...

I have already know the most of chance that the CEL turns on due to bad O2 sensor which needs to be replaced. however, due to MONEY CONSTRAIN currently, I can't efford to replace both front two. SO my question is does the CEL turns on and off frequently will impact bad or it will bring more problemto the engine?? I love my car and I really want to keep taking care of it. If it's really serious to get it replaced immediately, I will do that (I may keep working hard tho). Or it's allright, it only bothered you when you drive, you may replace them within next couple months which it won't damage your engine anyhow.( so I could have some personal time go have fun with friends)

PLz give me some advice. Change them or leave them until I got enough money.

If its just the o2 sensors that are causing your light you are fine. What might be off is your mpg, but not enough to notice because you might just be running just a hair rich or lean, nothing to worry about at all! Also your engine still has the other two o2 sensors to take measurements from.

yeah you might get some misfires cause of running rich and the cpu will try to change it.

can one o2 sensor that has a heater error code cause misfires? I guess I will try changing that today. That would be amazing if it would fix all my problems. Probably won't but it guess it doesn't hurt to try.

well it all depends on if your car is misfireing all the time or jsut some times, but in the long run yeah, as for the o2 replacement jsut do two at the same time cause they tend to go in pairs, vast has a good deal on them
