Pics of new BBS RGR rims on B7
Hi all,
Finally, I cleaned her up and took some pics of the new rims. My ASA ZR2s kept getting bent so I sprung for the pricey BBS RGRs. These are 19 x 8.5, diamond black (which is really more like shiny gunmetal), and cost $1000 a piece. Currently I'm running 245s but with the 35mm offset they rub like crazy in front so I had to raise the car back up. When these tires wear out I'll get 235s and lower it back down some in front.
For whatever reason the bright red really got washed out in most of these and the car looks orange. The one shot of the back (where the 245s look nice and fat) shows the color better. Anyway, here you go...
Rear shot of Millteks:
Side shots:
One of the trunk. Just wanted to show the nice job the shop did installing the amps and sub in the trunk. Made fiberglass molds, covered them with carpet and mounted them to the sides of the existing trunk. Very clean and can be reverted to stock easily:

I much prefer those wheels to your old ones. They look SICK, 19's look just right. Your trunk looks so clean too.
IMO the only thing you could do to make that car look better is to get the 25th anniversary quattro bumpers, cf splitter, and cf lip spoiler. Seriously it allready looks great, the red is amazing these pics dont do it justice

Thanks all. The system install was done by Ultimate Car Toys in Dublin (CA). It took about 3 days to do everything (AVIC-Z2 head unit, speakers, amps, sub, trunk molds). The sound is fantastic and I can play concert DVDs with 5.1 surround, which sounds awesome. I can basically crank it up to max power with no distortion. The door speakers are Focal (pronounced fo-CAL). The Bose system sounded good at low volumes but you couldn't really crank it up. I tried replacing just the speakers but even with a CleanSweep the sound was really bad. So I ended up doing the head unit as well.
