Praise for Dunlop Wintersport M3s on B6 S4
In case it it might be of interest to anyone, I just installed Dunlop M3 snow tires on my S4 and spent a weekend up in Lake Tahoe with blizzard conditions. All I can say is: Wow! These tires handle unbelievably well on snow and ice. Everyone else was sliding around and my car handled essentially like it was on a dry road - no slipping whatsoever. Up hills, down hills, in deep snow. No problem. Kudos to Dunlop for some excellent tires. As if that weren't enough, they actually handle well in dry conditions too. I highly recommend these tires.

Nice! My garage ordered or received the wrong size Blizzak LM-25s and as such, I am still waiting for my snow tires...I was up in Vt last weekend on my contis...and had to drive very gingerly. Actually hit a snow bank in a parking lot while I was playing around a little. I need my snowtires!

I travel to VT often, usually the bush or stowe. I ended up going hardcore with the Blizzak WS-50. Not high performance. I'll travel 80-100 on these tires and they drive very well on the dry highways, even at 100. They do not corner very well though. In the snow, they are absolute animals. Mounted them on 17" rims off tirerack, and they do not look half bad. I was talked out of the LM-25 by a partner with the ws 50 on his A8. ABACAB...snow sucks up in vt heh?? raining like a mother now,and i am sure the place will really suck...I just got back from a sick week out in whistler....Dumped all week......

can't piggy back enough on these tires! I went V (A60 from my town to work is quite desolate most hours of the day) I can hit 130 mph+ cruising and the noise ain't bad. and when the weather turns to crap, i'm the last to know. i see the snow and ice on the road so i slow down but don't realise how bad it is until i talk to friends who drove to work after me and tell me how nasty and slippery the corners were that i just drove through. AWD+M3 winter sport= glued to the freakin' road. haven't had them long enough to see the wear, but if you don't care or can't go faster than 150 mph, this might be your all year tire. I will have to watch the wear after the season ( had the tires since beginning december) and post on it.
