When I just sit and let the car idle, it idles rough. It's a 01 s4 6 speed. Any ideas?

I have a similar problem... I'm thinking it's aleak in the TB boot. I just order APR BiPipeso when I get it installed I'll post my results.

Do your rpm bounce around or do you just feel some vibrations?

could be a vacuum leak. Those rubber hoses are 7 yrs old so heres gunna be some deteriation.

No, My RPMs don't bounce. it's pretty steady. I CEL came on for about 2 days and then went off. It runns pretty smooth, but when I get on it, it tries to miss or cut out a little.

My geusses...and won't know for sure until you get that code. it is stored in there.

EGT sensor..

MAF sensor.

your probably running lean.

I have the same problem just noticed it today, its 95* out so its hot as hell and was wondering the same thing. The thing is my TBB is not over one year old and is in good shape????
