I'm looking to make a few DIY small parts using carbon fiber for my interior, while I save up for an OEM CF trim to replace my wood from 'www.vagparts.com'.

i.e. - Custom Ipod Holder, a bracket to hold the 5" plasma screen in my glovebox, etc.

and I was close to ordering some sheets of Carbon Fiber to start some projects when I realized...

It suprised me to find how many different weaves of CF are out there, and I just wanted someone to help clarify with me the "Weave pattern" found in the OEM carbon fiber trim on the S4.

Best bet for a match is do all the trim your self.

Not only does the pattern need to match, so does the angle you lay it up.

The trim is a PITA to remove.
