Rather than charging the car I was thinking of going the route of getting ported heads..and different cams, injectors and tuning necessary

the porting supposedly when finished is F1 quality

It is pricey though

I'd be cautious on the motodyne s/c until it has a proven track record. In checking on audiworld and audizine I have not seen anything yet....no one seems to have this set up running yet.

 

Yeah Silver game me a email briefly describing his audi, but for some reason has not replied on here

he said it was comparable to an 03- 04 cobra..ford

I agree with you abacab as I have yet to see any definitive proof of this motodyne charger.. silver b7's reply to me was meager and i question the truth of it.

I found MTM's supercharger that they fitted on a cabrio tho

I am actually pretty happy with just exhaust and downpipes...I will fit that intake on soon for the sound it makes mainly

The guys at the shop that work on my audi are saying that APR is coming out with a supercharger for the V8 real soon! I guess we'll have to wait and see.

 

That would be awesome. I might consider selling mine and getting a B6 if I could get the Supercharger from APR.

I'm a big fan of APR. My first S4 drive was the B6, I still do like it better, just not enough power/ease of tunning.

 

Thats sounds really good, I asked them about it and they said they were aiming for a reasonable price as well....

Yeah, lets let the guys on that forum buy the SC kit, we'll wait a year or so and see how there doing and if all goes well it's safe for our cars as well. I love letting others be my guinea pigs!

 

Don't know much about their superchargers, but a company that resorts to cheesy Jersey ***** on their web site home page doesn't score high in self-respect and surely doesn't promote any confidence. Have you read their disclaimer on the policy page? Yeah, I really trust them now...
