Default Signs of turbo failure

Another quick thread, does anyone know the telltale signs of a turbo about to go, I've heard about the siren sound, but i'm not quite sure what that sounds like.

Dont know the part # But I do know that when a turbo is about to fail you will here a grinding sound on start up and when trying to spool. I would not let this progress to far or you will be paying for more than just a turbo replacement!

Ok, I haven't heard the grinding sound, so i think my turbos might be ok for now. Also, what do you mean by trying to spool ?

If you need ear plugs & a gas mask to go get milk & bread, the turbo's are gone.....

Of course not. It will effect the flow of air that goes out of the exhaust and intake. You cant take them off because you will have nothing to feed of the intercooler. Thats a funny question...
