Well my ScanGuage just picked up code P0300 "Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected". I have not been able to get it scanned by a Vag-com to see which cylinders are misfiring.

Sounds like and ICM to me. Before you replace the part though, check your plugs and make sure they're not all fouled. I doubt they would be since it sounds like they're pretty new, but start with the cheap basics.

I went through the same thing, I had a P0300 and P0302 code. Switched coil packs to see if the misfiring jumped cylinders, checked plugs, etc and in the end it was the stupid ICM. Takes 10 times as long to go buy it and calm down than it is to replace :-P

But on another note the higher range hesitation (if that is what you are experiancing) happened to me with my GIAC-X chip, my friend made it run a little richer and voila! all better.

oh if it is an egt sensor and your replacing it, they are sometimes a pita to get out. Heat em up with a torch and wrench them off.

i may be way off.. but im not crazy about iridium platinum plugs in a high boost turbo car.. i have regular copper plugs.. they stay a little cooler for you and you can gap them at about .22-.25.. you want the smaller gap because on a high boost car there is a chance the high boost could blow a plug out, and cause a misfire.. which sounds like something you could be running to at that high rpm...who cares if you have to change them a little sooner than youd like..we all like to mod and maintain our cars anyway.. right???... and all for about 2.19 a plug.. ; ) ...

Thumbs up It was a bad coil pack

Like I said before I switch the coil pack from cylinder 1 to 2 and scanned the car again to see that the # 2 cylinder was now mis-firing. So I replaced the bad coil with a new one and problem fixed. I was reading up that when on coil goes bad the rest are likely soon to follow. So I'll start saving up for the 5 new coil packs. As for now the joy of driving at WOT is better then ever. Just thought I would let everyone know...
