Tbb help!!!
hey so i just got done installing the samco tbb and i test drove the car and it feels kinda sluggish. I dont know if maybe the car has to be warmed up or im just thinking that the car is supposed to drive faster (im not sure), anyways i made sure the tbb was secured around all the hoses so that no air could get out and when i was installing it i moved one of the pipes and i heard something crack and fell on the floor but when i went to go look for it there was nothing there.
If the tbb wasnt on properly would the car be a LOT slower that you would be able to tell?
Any other symtoms that you might be able to tell if its not on properly??
help!!

how would i go about looking for the boost leak?
Also would the change in power be enough so you could be able to tell. Becuase when i floor the car it seems to be driving normally how it usually does.

you may have just stressed or cracked the plastic where the bipipe attaches to the timing cover. its pretty tight down there.
if your samco tbb isnt installed properly you will have issues getting the car to higher RPMs and building boost.
Keep and eye on your boost gauge and also periodically check it, especially the underside to make sure that everything is snug.
My tbb was loose at the bottom, i didnt throw a CEL and i couldnt get past 4k rpms.

My car has no problem getting up to to the redline at all and it drives like it normally did (when i floor it or just accelerate). My question is though if something was wrong Ie: a boost leak, would i be able to notice it.
Like would my car be like a turtle?

it depends on how big of a boost leak. A big enough boost leak can throw the car into limp mode.
If you don't have one already get a boost gauge. its going to your first line of defense. Also you can make a pressure tester (see www.awe-tuning.com for details).
