Top speed for schol
off the top of my head i know these from experience...
1st: 38-41
2nd: 58-62
3rd: 80ish
4th: 110 (?)
5th: 135-140 (?)
give or take a few mph, it's fairly rough, I'm sure you could google a website that says exactly what it is for each

Im having a difficult time seeing this in my head right now... But sure your gear ratios dont change, but your powerband does, which would effect mph at given rpm... I Think??

Can anyone shed some light on the science of this????
Sooks I think we are right, if you are creating more HP per RPM that should translate into more MPH per RPM.....right??

Doesent haveing a chip rase redline a little witch would make it possable to pull each gear longer

Chipping does NOT change your top speed in the gear. Top speed per gear has to do with the diferential, and gear ratios. Nothing to do with power. All the chip does is raise your redline limit allowing you to raise your maximum rpm's in a given gear. Gear speed is all mechanical, not electrical at all. So if you can do 100 in third at stock redline with the chip, then you could do 100 in third at the stock redline without the chip. It's as simple as that.
