Default Types of N75's

Can someone please tell me the difference between the race N75 and the other types or give me a link to a thread about it.

Or whether I should just buy a stock n75 and put it on.

You'll probably want to go stock so you can be sure your comparing 'apples to apples' when you swap them.

That way you don't create any new symptoms.

I only say this because I have a race n75 but I have to run an mbc in parallel to prevent a 22 psi spike at low rpms, that triggers the throttle cut.
It is good for 2-3 psi at the low-mid rpms though. But it doesn't affect boost at the top end.

I should also mention that the race n75 worked fine without an mbc when I had just the k03s with an APR 93 oct. tune.

That's what I kinda figured, but I wasn't sure if there would be any plus to get a race valve over the stock valve. I hear a lot of good and bad with the race. Is there any performance difference between the stock and race? I don't want it to let the boost spike because I think that is my problem right now.
