Default B5 S4..Not feeling the pull

OKs o I bought my S4 about 2 weeks ago and I was really disappointed by the amount of "pull" I felt from the biturbo V6. Whats the best way to test for 100% -ish power? I did a really weak launch and it timed at 6 sec... i know its not a great way of telling your cars performance but its all i got right now. I do hear the turbos spooling so i dont think they're shot. Any help would be appreciated, i really thought 250hp would feel different.

horsepower is not what you feel, its torque and stock the s4 has plenty of it stock. There is lots of room to improve though.

If you want to make sure you are getting full power, run it on a dyno.

The car has 114,xxx miles.

But also my theory is....before i owned a 4 cyl turbo car and now its a v6 turbo car...now when i say i dont feel the pull, i mean i dont feel the gradual pull that comes from turbos like i did in my dsm. So what im thinking is becaus of the larger motor, maybe i feel more motor than turbo? if you dont understand what im tryin to say i can spell it out for you better, im just in a hurry. peace

i know what you are talking about. But idk, i was in my buddy's 2001 s4 running with 4 missfires in it and i was pinned to my seat through all the gears. you feel the motor more at low rpm before the k03s kick in, and close to redline when the turbos run out of breath. the only other thing i can think of is to check your psi to make sure your running the right boost. hope this helps man.

boost gauge.. then stage 2 chip.. then tbb.. maybe dv's.. report back after boost gauge.. remember.. 8-9 psi max on stock.. and your 250 bhp is moving a 3600lbs car.. it WILL not be swift by any means as stock.. peppy, but will not pin you.

i guess im used to stage 3 power.. but hopefully youll understand my point..
