stock 2001.5 S4 and I get a very consistant 25.1-25.4 mpg (60% highway and conservative driving). I do have a question though. My average fuel economy hardly ever changes because it averages over a large period (not sure if its time or distance). Is there a way to reset my average fuel economy and/or change the average period?

26 average (My calcs, not the car's), and 30-32 on the highway if I behave myself.

now that it's gotten cold it has tapered off a few MPG.

With my 2001 B5 S4 2.7t 6sp I was getting 27-28mpg on 100% highway road trip... and I got a bad set of O2 sensors.

I get about 14-16 around town and 22-23 on the highway if I keep it mellow.

hey use the control on your wiper arm and change the screen to show the average MPG you get and then feel the bottom of the wiper arm there is a rectangular button and just hold that for a second and it will reset the mpg average to 0.

IT also works for eveyrhting else, trip calulator, and speeding sensor.

Hope that helps.

I'm getting 21MPG in my B5 and 17MPG in my B6. I drive about 85% highway and usually between 80-100. If I set the cruise at 80 I'm getting about 25MPG in the B5 and 23 in the B6
