Default What tires should I get for decent price??

Hi gies, I'm trying to find good tires for my B5 S4. I live in Michigan so we do get snow and road conditions are all over the place here so i need something that is good all around. I'm thinking of getting FUSION HRi tires but has anyone used these before(400 installed)?? I also am considering TOYO Extensa HP(450 installed)?? Both tires seem fair but does anyone have anythoughts on these or what they would get in this price range?? Thanks gies!

Out of those two, I would definitely get the toyos.

The Fuzions are (for a lack of better words) junk.

Plus the Toyos are asymmetrical so you can cross rotate them if desired.
They are worth the extra fifty.

Me and my brother use Sumitomo HTR Z II. I love em, but I do have a winter set of tires also. I wouldn't be scared to drive in the winter with them since I have, but don't go crazy haha.

The HTR Z II is a good summer tire but they wouldn't do you any good in Michigan snow.

If you go with Sumitomo tires, opt for the HTR + . It's an all-season.

Default research?

Have you checked the wear and traction ratings on either of those compared to the alternatives?

2 weeks ago I got 4 all-season BF-Goodrich shipped to my door from tirerack for $400. Excellent wear and traction ratings.

Thank you all for the input. I think im just gonna go with the Toyo tires, they seem like they have the longest life and they look cool. Although they say they are all season tires they just don't look like they are that great for winter time but hey im driving on nearly bald summer performance tires and i don't really get stuck i just can't stop lol. So the toyo tires i think are the best bet. Thanks again guys!

More sipes are the key to stopping and taking-off on hard packed snow and/or ice.

The Toyos are a great choice.

My kid just put the FUSION HRi's on his Accord and loves them - $360 installed, balanced, new stems..

and, despite the looks, they are asymetrical also (goes either way)...

We're in Indiana..
