Yes The Black Dangly Cord In The Front Bumper
So when my headlights got stolen i had to replace the fenders and do some work on the hood. all fine and dandy got the e-codes and everythings back together exceptttt theres a black wire hanging inside my bumper with a circular connector and no where to go. Its around the middle. Anyone have a clue? PS. 2001 Audi S4. Thanks Alot

Hi I am new to audi and just seen your post

Its not a grounding wire... its a weird black connector maybe a male type that almost looks like a cigarette lighter dongle. I dunno i think it might have been the headlight washer power if there is... thats maybe why my headlight washers aren't working? I just don't want to pull the bumper off again... pain in the ****
have the same cord hanging off of mine. my mechanic said it might have something to do with the starter. but he wasnt sure, so i just wrapped it around my bumper. lol, i know exactly what you are talking about tho.
hah, i spent about a good hour looking for a connecting wire for that damn dangling wire, couldn't find ****. i have no idea what it is and don't remember disconnecting it from anything... it's just there...
