I've seen there are a ton of threads on here about oil consumption, and I might have missed it but I can't find one about B7 S4s. The car drinks about 2 and a half quarts every 500-550 miles. I've done a compression test and the cylinders have psi's ranging from high 40s at the lowest, to the highest being around the low 80s. I understand that these are pretty low, and I believe that to my knowledge the piston rings seem shot. Would this be accurate? Is there a link between the two problems? Or is there anything else I can do to try to diagnose the issue? Again, Sorry if this is a repost, but I'm at work and I don't have the time to look through all of the forums.
